Welcome to Future drops new single 'P!T (Punk ist tot)'

Hamburg newcomer Welcome To Future is making an unforgettable entrance with ‘P!T (Punk ist tot)’, a high-voltage anthem that challenges the idea that punk has lost its voice. At just 18 years old, the German artist delivers a fierce anthem aimed squarely at a generation searching for something louder, bolder and more meaningful.

Fusing thunderous guitars, driving rhythms and arena-sized choruses, ‘P!T’ draws inspiration from acts including Green Day, Måneskin and Yungblud while carving out a sound that feels unmistakably current. Rather than accepting that guitar music has faded into the background, the single argues that rock can still be a powerful outlet for frustration, identity and social change.

The release also sets the tone for Welcome To Future's forthcoming EP, ‘Grenzen’, which will tackle themes such as social division, climate anxiety and belonging. Having already made headlines by bringing punk to The Voice and becoming the show's first contestant to spark a mosh pit, the young artist is now building momentum with producer Peter Hoffmann.
